Avid Link is a free tool developed by the creators of Pro Tools, Media Composer, and Sibelius, to name but only those more widely known tools related to music composition and production. They're also developers of graphics and video-related software solutions, so it probably made all the sense in the world for Avid to be behind this initiative. They have created and offered a free tool to connect all creative people out there, customers of their products and not-yet customers alike. Customers have bonus features, like the possibility of managing all their Avid software (licenses, updates...) from Avid Link.

Finally, I'd like to mention that the option to share your creations in renowned platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon Prime Music is done via AvidPlay, which is not, unlike Avid Link, a free tool.
